My Take on the Product:

The Revlon moisture stain comes in a plastic tube with doe foot applicator which reminds me of YSL glossy stain. Color of the stain can be seen through the plastic container.

Revlon colorstay moisture stain does exactly what they say. Texture of the stain is smooth and creamy, but not sticky which makes the application easier. Formula adheres to dry lips making them look juicy (high shine). An hour post application glossiness reduces leaving the stain behind. Intensity of the stain depends on the color. Deep color in the range give more pigmented stain and wear time. I found the stain to last for 3 hours when it was lighter shade where as darker color stayed on for about 4 hours.

Revlon moisture stains are available in 8 shades of which I liked only these two, 005 Parisian Passion and 030 Milan moments. The entire range has bright colors.

Ups:

  • Moisturizing
  • Highly pigmented shade
  • Classy and sturdy packaging
  • Do not have strong scent
  • Vitamin E and Aloe
  • No stickiness

Downs:

  • Glossy finish fades quickly
  • Staying power

Ratings:

  • Packaging: 5/5
  • Coverage: 4/5
  • Lasting ability: 3/5
  • Availability: 5/5
  • Value for money: 4/5

Overall rating: 4.2/5

Highly recommended! If you are one of those who shy away from gloss mainly because of stickiness this is meant for you. I love the product mainly because it does what it says. It does provide moisture to dry lips and stains them after gloss fades.

PS: Review is based on two shades I tried. Other shades in the range might now perform the same. Use testers before your purchase.
