In my recent eBay skincare haul I mentioned my search for good Korean skincare brands. Laneige’s Water Sleeping Pack is one such product that caught my attention. And immediately it reminded me of Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa Sleeping Mask, which was lying in my Nykaa shopping cart. Finally, I decided to try the mask after reading nothing but good reviews.
Inspired by the Vichy Thermal Spa, this ultra-comfortable, velvety sleep mask infuses the skin with hydration overnight, when skin is most receptive to treatments. Skin is soft, soothed and supple by morning.
Price: INR 1690/75ml
Packaging: Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa Sleeping Mask comes in a heavy blue glass jar. Jar format is perfect for the texture of product. If there was one thing that I would recommend Vichy in terms of packaging would be to provide a small spatula to remove the product rather than having to dig into the tub.
Formula: Texture of the product is dense thick gel which moisturizes skin without being greasy or oily. With a thin layer application, skin absorbs the product within 2-3 minutes making all the dry patches disappear.
There are two ways to use the product:
Method 1: Apply a thick layer to face and neck and massage into skin with an upward smoothing motion. Leave it on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes and then gently wipe access away.
Repeat the same 1-3 times a week.
Method 2: Apply a thin even layer and massage into skin just like a normal moisturizer. With this technique you can use the product daily.
I personally follow method 2 in terms of application.
With frequent use I have seen a huge change in my skin. During winter my skin is normal to dry, specially because of using hot water frequently. Vichy Aqualia Thermal Mask has been my favorite way to being back moisture into my dry skin. After using the product for last 3 months, I have seen improvement in the way my skin texture feels. I have woken up to firmer, bouncier and smoother skin. I haven’t experienced any breakouts.
