Sunscreen is just like those products which are necessities, but don’t get noticed much like toothpaste, dental floss or soap. Sunscreen comes in one of those categories where I like to stick with the tried and tested brand/formula. If you have read my previous post on Lakmé 9 to 5 Mattifying Super Sunscreen you would know that it has been by far the best sun block I have ever tried. The only thing that makes me whine about it is the packaging :(
On my vacation to Seychelles I wanted sun block that won’t just protect my sensitive skin, but is also travel friendly. My first obvious choice was Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50.
Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 100+ offers the highest combined UVA/UVB protection.
Now, Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 100+ is proven to protect skin from over 99% sunburn damage. Plus, with an unbeatable PFA, nothing provides better UVA protection. Infused with a light, fresh scent, this elegant formulation is fast-absorbing, non-whitening, water resistant and lightweight. Neutrogena’s Dry-Touch technology provides an ultra-light, non-shiny finish and leaves skin soft and smooth.

My take on the Product:
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ comes in a squeeze tube with a nozzle which dispenses correct amount of product. For the consistency of the product I love the packaging. CHEERS!! Neutrogena for keeping it real.
Enough emphasis on the packaging, it’s time to speak out about the actual maal(commodity). Formulation is made to protect against both UVA and UVB rays, which means it provides broad spectrum protection. This is something that you always need to check in your sunscreen. Apart from the mainstream job, Neutrogena also promises to provide ultra light, non-stick finish, which I have witnessed. It is waterproof, sweat proof and resist rub-off.
Last quality that the product promises is to be oil free and non-comedogenic. With both of us (Mr.J and me) applying the sun screen every day, this gave him few breakouts. He has oily, but nonsensitive skin, which is not prone to breakouts. So, we suspect the sunscreen in this case. As of me, I have sensitive, but did not have any breakout after using the screen screen regularly multiple times during the day. This is something I wanted to mention. I would highly recommend using a smaller tube in 30ml before committing to a full size tube.
Overall Rating: 4/5
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 50+ does what it claims. If you are looking for a good sun block within your budget, search no more. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock is the best fit in this category.
