Maybelline Fit Me! Matte +Poreless Foundation has been my everyday go to base for last 7 months. Thanks to my friend who got it from the US last year. Most of the brands launch new range in the US way before India. Also, with 20% off on drugstore.com, I prefer to ditch Nykaa. Long story shot, I got my hands-on Maybelline Fit Me foundation way before it got launched here.
Get natural and flawless complexion from every angle with Fit Me!® Matte + Poreless liquid foundation. Skin that shows its fabulous best. Its 25% anti-shine perlite + micro blurring powders, make visible pores and shine disappear, getting you the perfect selfie-ready look.
The foundation retails for $7.99 on the US website, which is similar to the pricing in India. You can find it on Nykaa for INR 525 in 6 different shades.
The foundation comes in a small glass bottle without a pump, which is something I am ok to ignore as Maybelline Fit Me is one of the most affordable foundations available in the beauty store. The shade that I picked from drugstore.com is 238 Rich Tan, which is one shade lighter than my actual skin tone. Thankfully with the lunch in India I could get the perfect shade from Amazon, 230 Natural Buff.
The liquid foundation is available for dry and normal to oily skin types. My skin is combination most of the time, which is why I decided to pick normal to oily skin formula. The foundation is made to give matte + poreless finish. I would agree that the foundation does help in minimizing pore, but not to an extent where the pores have completely vanished. It does decent job of hiding blemishes if you build it up on the area where extra coverage is needed.
This has been my everyday go to foundation because it is light weight and has medium coverage. The only thing I wish it could provide was staying power. I work for minimum of 9 hours a day with barely any time to touch up. I have noticed that the foundation starts to fade within 5 hours. Using good primer underneath has solved my complain, but I still need to try it under other foundations before I recommend the primer. If you still want to give it a short yourself, please do. Its Nivea Men After Shave Balm, highly raved product by NikkieTutorials on Youtube.
Overall, I like the foundation for my combination skin. Maybelline Fit Me! Matte +Poreless Foundation does what it claims. My only complain is with the wear time, which can be solved with a good primer. If you can find perfect shade for you then definitely try it out.
