M.A.C Matchmaster Concealer Review and Swatch

M.A.C is was my first makeup love and will always continue to be. There are many products from M.A.C which are my holy grail products and I would repurchase them every time I run out of it. Months ago M.A.C launched matchmaster concealer which I was drawn towards. Main reason being the format of the product. They resemble Bobby Brown’s stick foundation which I would love to use for contouring.

Description: A moisturizing formula that’s suitable for humid climates and all skin types.

Proprietary formula uses Shade Intelligence Technology to offer customizable pigments that adjust to your skin tone with medium buildable coverage, and to give perfect colour purity without looking ashy or chalky. Helps reduce the appearance of discolourations and wears for up to eight hours. This sweat-resistant and non-streaking formula is suitable for humid climates and all skin types. Also moisturizes in both the short and long term.

My Take on the Product:

The M.A.C matchmaster concealer comes in 12 shades in a stick format. Like mentioned before this reminds me of Bobby Brown stick foundation, which is best suitable for contouring. The formulation of the product is very creamy providing medium buildable coverage without looking caked up. Well! most of the concealer can be either used for blemishes or for under eye dark circles. However, this one fits in perfectly to conceal all the problematic areas on the skin. Under eye skin is very sensitive, hence requires creamy formulation to avoid any tugging. M.A.C matchmater is perfect for this. If you are one suffering from severe pigmentation, blemishes or panda dark circles then this is not for you. My interest of use is purely for contouring as it given me good control and perfect blendable coverage, which acts as contour base/primer.
