Luxola Online Shopping Haul: India

How often do you get an online store where you can shop without worrying about shipping charges or custom duty? Yes, it is true and this is none other than is an e-commerce site which provides beauty products to southeast Asia. The site currently offers a lot of amazing brands like 3CE, Sleek, Zoeva, Real Techniques, Philosophy, Laneige and Sigma, which are few my favs. Luxola has now started shipping to India!
I stumbled upon this site 2 months ago while surfing on a beauty blog. After visiting Luxola for about thousand times, adding like a zillion products to my cart, I finally took the plunge.

My experience with Luxola website:

The site is easy to browser with products properly categorized. Products can be searched brand wise or use wise. They also provide quick links to sale, new arrivals and luxury brands.
While the site makes decision making easy, payment was the most frustrating part of the entire experience. Two products added to my cart were Zoeva Luxe Prime Set and Beautyblender Pro Double Blender. After 30% discount for my first order and no shipping charge or customs to pay, I could not stop drooling over it. Unfortunately, after three unsuccessful attempts to make the payment I gave up for the day.
In my restless sleep that night I decided to try my luck again the next day. This time around my 30% discount coupon code was disabled and that increased my frustration. I could not take this any more and decided to contact customer service. They activated the coupon the same day, thankfully I was able to make the payment using master card on my sixth attempt.

Shipping and Delivery:

Once order was placed, I received order confirmation mail from Luxola which was on Oct 28th. There was no notification after the order got dispatched. Once again I had to contact the customer service asking them about the shipping status. Finally, after enquiry on Oct 31st, I got confirmation along with the tracking no. The tracking information clearly mentioned that the order was dispatched on Oct 29th, but I was not notified about it. Now the good part was that I was able to track the order. It took nine days for the order to be shipped to me from the date the order was placed. I received my package on Nov 5th.

  • Luxola provides FREE EXPRESS DELIVERY on any order ABOVE ₹ 2,300. Any order below this amount will be charged flat rate of ₹ 950.
  • Luxola ships on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties are included in the final purchase price.

Customer Service:

Customer service and is not available for live chat as per IST. You can obviously get assistance by dropping an email at
Customer service is fast enough to help you with all your queries, but lacks empathy 🙁

Products I picked up from

Overall I am happy with my purchase mainly because of the products and not because of my shopping experience. I will definitely repurchase from Luxola whenever they have any discounts on their site. This is purely because no other sites ship all these brands to India with zero shipping and custom fee.

  1. Hi,
This is really strange but I have my own Luxola story to share. I saw celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge recommending the 110 Face Shape Brush by Zoeva and I searched for it online. Came across Luxola for the first time and to my utter disbelief saw that shipping was free just for today. So I placed the order but payment was unsuccessful for first two attempts. So I gave up. Again, tried it after an hour and luckily got through. And here’s the cherry on the cake. I don’t have a credit card so took a chance with my intl debit card and it worked. 😀
