Can I start by saying how disappointed I am with all the makeup brands. They just make us feel helpless by launching products in US first before India. And, even after a long wait, there are chances of those products never being launched in India. L’oreal Le Matte and La Laque lipsticks are perfect examples. They were launched in US roughly about in Sep, 2013. However, these products have not yet made appearance in Indian market. If you still did not get my point then, let me explain, L’Oreal Paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder launched here more than a year after its launch in US. Now that I have made my point on how desperate I was to get my hands-on these products, let’s take in detail on if it is worth the wait.
Nude Magic is a light-weight daily use foundation that gives your skin that perfect nude glamorous finish with a magic, feathery texture. It leaves your skin even and perfectly radiant with zero imperfections. Available in 6 shades.
Shake well before use and gently turn the bottle upside down. Wait till the right amount of Nude Magic falls on your fingertips and then blend it in to your skin. The light liquid spreads evenly, gets easily absorbed and leaves a beautiful, talc-like finish.
Nude Magic contains light oils for perfect coverage and a velvety touch. It boasts of an airy, lighter-than-water formula that spreads 2x more than regular foundations giving your skin room to breathe and yet giving it a flawless finish.
My Take on the Product:
The L’Oreal Paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder comes in a glass bottle with frosted top and transparent bottom. The bottle comes with a twist off cap which gives no precise control on the amount of foundation dispensed. The packaging is appropriate for the consistency of the foundation. However, one needs to be careful of over dispensing the product. I have wasted a lot of product, it takes time to gage the correct amount needed.
The formula of the foundation is quite interesting. Like any liquid foundation, it is quite runny and light wight giving sheer coverage for natural look. The liquid to powder foundation will definitely not cover any blemishes, pigmentation or dark spots. The formula makes it glide on the skin evenly giving smooth surface. Post application within few seconds it turns powdery making me think that it is best for combination to oily skin. Surprisingly the formula is oily hence unfit for oily skin.
On my skin the foundation lasted for hardly 4 hours. Within an hour it started looking oily on the Tzone. I have tried the foundation with the powder on top, but still the same result. The foundation turns patchy after 4 hours of its application creating uneven finish. It does not work even in lower temperature ( under AC ) during office hours where I am not exposed to sun or sweating.

- Lasting ability: 2/5
- Availability: 5/5
- Value for money: 2.8/5
Overall rating: 3.26/5
L’Oreal Paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder is defiantly not worth the wait. It might work best on normal skin with even skin tone as the foundation is oily and gives sheer coverage. This is one product, which defiantly is a mismatch for me. The formula needs an improvement. Also, not to mention that product does not do what it clams.
