One skin problem which 9 out of 10 people suffer from is under eye dark circles. I don’t even feel like taking about it any more. I have suffered from this problem for half of my life and the other half I don’t even remember. I have tried so many products along with home remedies, but they still exist as if they are like my birth marks. I still haven’t found anything that has made it disappear more than 50%. So today I am reviewing one of the most raved products Kiehl’s Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate which I have been using from last few months.
Formulated with a high concentration of 10.5% Pure Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) known for its affinity with skin and its powerful ability to improve the appearance of skin aging. With Haloxyl, this formula helps to reduce the appearance of under-eye dark circles, helping to brighten the eye area for a fresher appearance. With continued use, our treatment helps address some of the more serious signs of skin aging with a significant effect on sub-orbital wrinkles and crows feet.
Directions For Use:
Cleanse skin thoroughly prior to application. Pat gently with fingertip along the orbital bone and on the upper eyelid, without pulling skin.
My take on the product:
First I would like to say that its dam expensive, INR 2400 for 15ml is like buying gold. After reading a lot of reviews, I made my decision to make one time investment. I know that any good concealer can hide dark circles, but we cannot wear makeup all the time. Imagine having such beautiful skin that you don’t need makeup at all. I know the thought is just wonderful. My purchase was just to come a step closer to my dream.
The formula is very light weight and runny in consistency. It has high concentration of 10.5% pure Vitamin C in the form of L-Ascorbic Acid which potent anti aging properties (enhance collagen production) and is good antioxidant. Second major ingredient, Haloxyl is one of the most effective ingredient to reduce dark circles. Its also moisturizes sensitive skin preventing dark circles. In short the product not just prevents, but also cures.
I just take a pie size product on my finger for each eye and dab it all around my eyes. There is an immediate reaction once the formula comes in contact with the skin. It just produces heat which increases blood circulation around the eye area. This sensation lasts for about a minute. Then, the cooling effect sinks in. I am not sure if its Vitamin C which causes this reaction as it comes in contact with the skin. But I love the way it feels.
Does it work?
Everything just boils down to this one thing, does it work? It definitely does reduce puffiness and tightens the under eye area. My main concern is dark circles which it does not work wonders for. After applying it for about 12 weeks now I can conclude that it definitely controls, but not reduces to an extent that I notice vast difference.
