We all crave for high end products. The ones that are easier to grab are lipsticks. They are the best things to start from and are easiest once to reach for in terms of budget. Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick is one such product which I was craving for since months. Last month I got message from Shopper Stop regarding my reward points which were about to expire. Do I need to mention what I thought of when I saw the message, Yes! I knew it is time to buy Estee Lauder lipsticks.

My take on the Product:
The lipstick comes in a sleek metallic blue finish case which has magnetic closure. Brand name is mentioned both on top and inside the lipstick. The packaging is so sturdy that you will enjoy opening and sliding the lipstick. It is just magical the way it is designed. The only downside is that if you own multiple lipsticks from this line, it would be difficult to identify the shade when you are looking for a specific one.
The formula is so smooth that it glides easily on the lips giving high intensity color in just one go. There is no need to go over the lips a million times to get the true color. If you rub your lips to understand the texture you will notice that its so smooth without feeling cakey. The texture definitely reminds me of Mac amplified formula, but with a hell of improvement. The other similarity that I find between Mac and Estee Lauder lipsticks are that they keep the lips moisturized. Usually I find that glossy lipsticks are more moisturizing than matt once, but these lipsticks are nether matt nor glossy. They do have little shine to them which disappears in 10 to 15 minutes post application. It then looks like a soft matt lipsticks. I have tried two shared in the range which had similar performance. However, it would be difficult to conclude if all the bright colors can provide the same experience. Again, just like packaging there is a downside to the formula, it does not last on my lips for more than 3~3.5 hours. This is the only thing that I find difficult to get with high end lipsticks. The wear time mentioned is without eating or drinking.

I love the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick and color range is spectacular. I would definably recommend it to those who wish to start with high end products. The product in itself is pure luxury.
These lipsticks have everything that I look for, highly pigmented, locks moisture, super creamy and beautiful packaging. The only thing that let me down was the wear time which I find very common with high end products.
