If you read my blog regularly you would know that I am not a blush person. Everyone has addiction to a specific product when it comes to makeup, for me it’s all about lipsticks and eye-shadows. Blush being the least favorite I have hardly purchased or reviewed them. Well, all this has changed recently thanks to Essence blush up! The Essence blush is so pretty that I could not resist.
My Take on the Product:
Essence blush up comes in a sturdy transparent plastic case which reminds me of Clinique cheek pop blushes. Recently a lot of high end and drugstore makeup brands are using transparent packaging. This concept works well for makeup hoarder like me.
As shown in the picture the blush has gradient effect which looks so pretty. This was more than sufficient to attract my attention. The formula of the product is smooth with good pigmentation. Initially I was not sure if pink would show up on my olive skin tone, but surprisingly it does and looks beautiful. The only complain I would have is the wear time. It barley stays on for 3~4 hours after which I have to reapply. Apart from longevity, ingredient was my second concern. Affordable blushes tends to break me out badly. I have experienced this in the past with Maybelline and Revlon blushes, hence I restrain myself from blushes when it comes to every day makeup. Essence blush on the other hand did not cause any problem to my sensitive skin. I am happy, but shocked about this as the ingredients comparison between Essence, Maybelline and Revlon are no different. So if you have sensitive skin like me, I would say try it once to know if the product suits your skin. Sometimes like in my case even the ingredients cannot help you figure things out.

Highly Recommended!!! This is most affordable and prettiest blush I have from the drugstore category. This one has hocked me on the blush bandwagon. I would definitely recommend this one.
