The blush comes a sliver case with a transparent lid. See through top makes it easy to identify the shade, specially if you have a huge pile of blushes, bronzers and highlighter dumped in a box like me. Of all the affordable blushes I have tried, this has been my favorite in terms of packaging as it’s sleek and compact. These compacts come with no mirror or brush that other brands offer. I never use brush or mirror for application and find quality of the brush to be cheap. So, I have no complains for the kind of packaging Colorbar offers.

Formula and Application:

All three shades have the same silky smooth texture. The shades are quite pigmented, which might be scary for some. One dip in the pan is all you need for visible application. Blendablity is on point and there is nothing bad I can talk about. The only thing I would warn someone about would be the pigmentation. The product is very silky, a lot gets transferred on to the brush in just one dip. It would be best to dust the brush to remove access before the application. Heavy handed makeup users be warned. I would also suggest using synthetic brush because the blush is a bit powdery.

All the colors show up exactly the way they look in the pan except Bronzing Glaze. This shade looks a bit more orange on the skin as compare to the pan. You can refer to the swatch image below. One more thing that I noticed while swatching these blushes on my arm was that they have fine silver shimmer. The simmer is only visible up close and cannot be noticed once applied on the cheeks.

The longevity of the blush is not more than 4 to 5 hours on my dry skin. Even with a primer underneath, I have not noticed any difference in the wear time. Surprisingly, I have not read anyone facing wear time issues with the blush.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Colorbar Cheek Illusion in Bronzing Glaze has been my go blush for almost a month now. If you are new to makeup, I won’t recommend these blushes because it’s very easy to go overboard as its very pigmented. For everyone else like me, I would highly recommend trying at least one shade from the range. The product delivers every thing that it claims.
