I always want to try each and every new foundation out there. During my last visit to Sephora I could not resist grabbing Dior foundation, which obvious made me stay away from Cinique beyond perfection foundation. I did swatch the Clinique one, but dropped my plan because it was too thick for my liking. And here I am finally talking about it.
Powder foundation sounds crazy to me. With hot and humid weather throughout the year, it’s difficult to just wear powder foundation and expect it to work. However, they are best put to use when you want to top it over a light or medium coverage foundation. Yes, they don’t just keep your face matte, but also add coverage. There are is a lot of powder foundations out there, but….. I must say that M.A.C Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is the best I have ever used.
Perfect match, build-able coverage and skin that looks flawless is all I want from my foundation. Perfect base is key to beautiful makeup look. For some reason I don’t find drugstore foundations to deliver perfection in all these areas. This does not necessarily mean that splurging on high end brands will give me what I expect.
Dior, Chanel, MUFE and Estee Lauder has always been in my must try list for foundations. Estee lauder double wear foundation is my holy grail and I can’t stop raving enough. No matter how good or miserable my skin is, it makes my skin look perfect. But, which makeup lover can settle with one product ever?
The last time I visited Sephora, I could stop myself from checking out Dior counter. I ended up getting DiorSkin ForeEver Perfect Makeup Foundation.
Maybelline Fit Me! Matte +Poreless Foundation has been my everyday go to base for last 7 months. Thanks to my friend who got it from the US last year. Most of the brands launch new range in the US way before India. Also, with 20% off on drugstore.com, I prefer to ditch Nykaa. Long story shot, I got my hands-on Maybelline Fit Me foundation way before it got launched here.
